With over 140 aircraft, it is one of the largest air operators in Canada, employing over 800 flight crew, maintenance and support staff to deliver a variety of air transport, maintenance and logistics solutions to its government, airline and business customers.
Discovery Air International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Air Inc., was established to expand Discovery Air’s range of specialty aviation services domestically and internationally and will focus initially on executive charter, medevac and repatriation services out of Western Canada with its primary base and main operations based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Safety
Discovery Air International is dedicated to ensuring safe travels at the highest standards for its clientele.
Currently operating under a fully approved Safety Management System and Quality Assurance System for both operational and maintenance data, our aircraft are also equipped with the latest safety avionics. We are regulated under Transport Canada which establishes the safety, maintenance and operations standards for charter aircraft operators. Our flight crew have extensive experience and are fully qualified to operate our aircraft fleet. All of our Air Safety records are available upon request to our clients.
